New Music: “Amazed” by Durel Hall & Restored Featuring JJ Hairston and Thomas “TC” Clay

DURELHALL

Recently, the PraizeGroup released Durel Hall & Restored’s debut single, Amazed featuring Stellar Award® nominee JJ Hairston, and the incredibly gifted Thomas ‘TC’ Clay.

Amazed is said to have been conceived on a beach in Costa Rica while Restored’s lead singer and songwriter, Durel Hall, sat staring at the sunset.

“I looked around the world that God made and was overwhelmed by how awesome He is – how powerful He is, sometimes we forget that. We forget He spoke this perfectly connected world into existence.”

Durel stated the original recording was done using only the voice memo app on his phone. Once he returned to New York, Durel called upon producer Cito Crandle and the two brought the recording to life.

In 2013, the PraizeGroup launched the Durel Hall project and within two years, Durel Hall & Restored have taken the New York City gospel scene by storm. In their short lifetime, Durel Hall & Restored have been blessed with the opportunity to minister on the same stage as various Grammy® nominees and Stellar award® winners such as Tye Tribbett, JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise, Jason Nelson, Deon Kipping, Anthony Brown & group therAPy, Kurt Carr and many many more anointed vessels.
