Congrats! Stellar Winning Radio Announcer Tracy Morgan New Midday Host for Syndicated Network

tracymorganRejoice Musical Soulfood, the 24-hour gospel music radio network, has signed Stellar Award winning radio announcer Tracy Morgan as its new midday host for the 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM weekday time slot. “Tracy is a seasoned professional and a great radio personality,” says Rejoice President Mike Chandler. “I’m thrilled to be able to add Tracy to our line-up and I know our audience is going to fall in love with The Tracy Morgan Show.”

“I am very excited for the opportunity to be a part of this great network,” says Morgan who will preside over “The Tracy Morgan Show” while continuing as the Program Director and host of her own morning drive program on WBBP 1480 AM in Memphis, TN. “I look forward to a long and successful partnership with the Rejoice Musical Soul Food Network and all its affiliates.”

A Maryland native, Morgan has been a program director, music director, producer and on-air talent for various stations. She’s worked for Salem Communications, Radio One and other stations. For nearly a decade she was a popular host on WPGC’s Heaven 1580 in the Washington, D.C. area.  In 2005, she was inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio.  She has also inducted into the Columbia School of Broadcasting Hall of Fame and in 2014, Central South Distribution honored her with the Reach Award for Outstanding Achievement during Stellar Awards weekend. She and her husband Keith Morgan have one child, a daughter named Katrina.
