Earlier this summer listeners showed their love for the single voting it ‘New Joint of the Week’ on the Bonnerfide Radio Show and ‘Flat Out Hit of the Week’ on the Urban One nationally syndicated Willie Moore Jr. Show. This week the single hit #28 on the Billboard Gospel Indicator Chart.
On the heels of the Billboard mention, Clifton is scheduled to appear on the Urban One nationally syndicated show the Nightly Spirit with Darlene McCoy (Thursday September 7). Later this week, Clifton is heading to the Voices of Gospel Music Awards in Mobile, AL as the headlining artist of the Pre Show, a presenter at the awards show and as a nominee with several nominations on the ballot.
Ross, a native of Detroit, MI and an alumnus of Howard University (Washington, DC) currently serves as one of the Musical Directors at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church in Fort Washington, MD where Drs. Grainger and JoAnn Browning are the Pastors. Recent features include “Anoint Me Now” on the Howard Gospel Choir of Howard University Stellar nominated album Glorious God. He also appears on VaShawn Mitchell’s Created 4 This album on the song “His Record” and Byron Cage’s Memoirs of A Worshipper album on the song, “Good Anyhow.” He has also had the privilege of serving as a background vocalist for Byron Cage, Kurt Carr and Vashawn Mitchell.
