Unity Media Limited of Ohio the producers of the Allstate Gospel Superfest released the final results of its fourth Annual Allstate Gospel Superfest Battle of the Bands competition. And the winner is Memphis based quartet Perfection! The Allstate Gospel Superfest Battle of the Bands tour, which traveled to Columbia, SC, Jackson, MS and Dallas, TX produced three semi-finalists. After two-weeks of on-line voting Perfection who auditioned in Jackson, MS edged out
The New Pearly Gates of (Columbia Regional) and Connection (Dallas Regional). Perfection will open the 2013 Allstate Gospel Superfest national TV recording and receive a cash prize of $2,500.00. “This is one of the most polished quartet styled groups we have seen in quite some time. I am sure they will be around for many year’s to come” states show founder and executive producer Bobby Cartwright, Jr.
Over forty-five groups from across the country competed for a chance to appear at one of the nation’s top TV recording events in the field of urban gospel music. The Allstate Gospel Superfest continues to produce the battle of the bands events as its new talent platform to discover and give exposure for new and aspiring gospel artists.
