William McDowell’s Album “Withholding Nothing” Debuts at #1 on iTunes

williammcdowellwitholdingChart topping artist and world-renowned worship leader and Pastor William McDowell’s highly anticipated album Withholding Nothing (Delivery Room/eOne Music) debuted at #1 on the iTunes Christian and Gospel Top Albums chart after its release on November 5, 2013.  The ASCAP Award winning, Stellar and Dove nominated artist behind #1 Gospel hits such as “I Give Myself Away” and “I Won’t Go Back” continues to inspire and usher in the spirit of worship on this powerful new CD/DVD compilation.  Featuring the stirring lead single of the same name, Withholding Nothing follows the chart-topping success of McDowell’s sophomore recording Arise, ranking #1 on the Current Gospel Overall chart, has reached #2 on Billboard’s Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart and ranks #28 on Billboard’s top 200.

Containing over 60 minutes of passionate, extemporaneous worship in the form of songs, choruses and instrumental interludes that reverberate with themes of surrender and thanksgiving, Withholding Nothing highlights 2,000 people immersed not in a recording, but in worship.  Throughout the two-hour long DVD, viewers are captivated as the presence of God takes complete control of the room, while McDowell introduces a plethora of new worship anthems and songs of praise for today’s church.

This incredible live music ministry experience features the vocal talents of Steve Crawford and Da’dra Greathouse (Anointed) on “Standing”, worship and praise leaders Jason Nelson and BJ Putnam on “I Surrender All” and “Ask” respectively, gospel artists Josh Dufrene and Daniel Johnson on “Song of Intercession”, and Tyler Richardson and LaRue Howard on “Come Unto Me”.  Together with McDowell, these great artists bring people of all ages, cultures and denominations together through passionate, Christ-centered worship, to witness the manifestation of God’s presence in worship and praise like never before.

So how does one go about capturing that shift in the atmosphere, that moment when the order of service takes a back seat to the work of the Holy Spirit? According to McDowell, who is also the lead pastor at Orlando’s Deeper Fellowship Church, you simply “get out of the way.”

“These people don’t know they are being heard by anyone but God,” explains McDowell. “We don’t get pre-claps, we don’t stop for any reason. The focus is 100 percent on God and what He’s saying, and the songs just happen the way they happen…we rehearsed, we prepared, but in the end, the Holy Spirit led the evening.”

Having witnessed that moment of powerful worship, Hart Ramsey says, “This new CD/DVD is insane!!!!!  It’s more than a P&W CD/DVD.  It’s a Weapon of Intercession.  Anointed & sonically/visually remarkable.  What came out was unrehearsed.  What transpired that night was unforgettable.”
