The Seattle born singer first burst onto the scene after winning the Gospel Music Workshop of America’s (GMWA) 2005 Gospel Treasure Search and appearing on the legendary John P. Kee’s 2005 New Artist Compilation. Since then, Demps has wowed audiences as opening act for the likes of Fred Hammond and Marvin Sapp, even later sharing the stage with Kierra “Kiki” Sheard, Ricky Dillard, and Grammy winners Donald Lawrence and Dorinda Clark Cole (of the legendary Clark Sisters).
