Wess Morgan and Friends to Celebrate Recovery Fest 2013 in September

wess-morgan-05On September 27-29, 2013, Pastor and acclaimed gospel artist Wess Morgan will celebrate Recovery Fest 2013.  He’ll be joined by Pastors Joseph and Yolanda Morgan, singer Canton Jones, radio and media personality Corey “CoCo Brother” Condrey, Pastors Myles and De Lana Rutherford, Fuse Step Team and stand-up comedian Griff, for three days of festivities commemorating National Recovery Month.

Taking place at Celebration of Life Church in Hendersonville, TN, Recovery Fest is filled with power-packed seminars that speak on a range of topics including addiction, relapse prevention and coping skills and recovery strategies and techniques. The weekend long event will include a meet and greet with Pastor Morgan, a prayer breakfast, two panel discussions and a live concert celebration.

Wess Morgan is no stranger to the challenges of substance addiction and the process of recovery. His 2007 release of Look at Me Now served as a testament to these experiences and he shares his story of how God’s grace allowed him to overcome his addictions and become an example to others who are dealing with similar issues. Through his sophomore album, Under An Open Heaven and the award nominated single, “I Choose to Worship”, Wess continues to convey how prayer and faith have kept him clean, sober and able to live a better life. Recovery Fest is about celebration and determination. Wess says, “God gives us the strength to achieve all things and with His help, we can overcome any addiction.”
