Week of March 17, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart: WOW Gospel 2012 Still #1, LeCrae & Isaac Carree Re-Enter Top 10

This week on Billboard we have a few changes to the lineup of Gospel albums. First is LeCrae re-entering the top 10 with his critically acclaimed album, Rehab at #7, jumping seven spots from #14 last week, after 75 weeks on the chart. Next, is Isaac Carree who also re-enters the top 10 at #10 with his first solo project, Uncommon Me. At the top of the chart is WOW Gospel 2012, a compilation album, holding on to the #1 spot for another week.

Sunday Best winner Le’Andria Johnson continues to shine on Billboard with two albums in the top 10. Her sophomore project, The Evolution of Le’Andria Johnson, maintains the #2 spot, while her debut album, The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson, drops one spot to #6. Slowly making his way back to the top of the chart is Fred Hammond with his latest release, God, Love & Romance, jumping to #3.

James Fortune & FIYA drops one spot to #4 with their first project, Identity, off Fortune’s new label, FIYA World Music. Following is William McDowell with Arise: The Live Worship Experience at #5, after peaking at #1. Finally, completing the top 10 this week is Kirk Franklin with one of the biggest albums this past year in Gospel Music, Hello Fear, at #8 and the Joyful Noise Soundtrack at #9.
