Veteran Worship Leader Martha Munizzi Earns Three Stellar Award Nominations

Famed worship leader Martha Munizzi is riding high on the success of her latest project, Make It Loud!.  The 12-track project, filled with powerful praise and intense worship tunes, is the award-winning artist’s 6th release.  Catapulted by the lead single, “Excellent”, the project has been touted as the singer’s finest record to date.  Now, the Stellar Awards Gospel Music Association has taken note of the songstress.  Munizzi just received three nominations for the upcoming 27th Annual Stellar Awards including Albertina Walker Female Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year-Short Form for “Excellent” and Recorded Music Packaging for Make It Loud!.  In addition to receiving the nominations, Martha will be performing on the telecast as well.  The Stellar Awards will be held at the Grand Old Opry in Nashville, TN, on Saturday, January 14, 2012.

Make It Loud! peaked at #6 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart and the single “Excellent” peaked at the #11 spot on the Billboard Top Gospel Songs Chart.  In addition, the CD entered Billboard’s Top Christian Albums Chart at #11, the Top Independent Albums Chart at #27 and the Billboard Top 200 at #140.  Worship Leader Magazine selected Make It Loud! as one of the magazine’s Best of the Best in Song Discovery. Also, the CD was named as one of the Top 5 Indie Albums of 2011. Recorded live in Orlando, Florida, Make It Loud! includes the talents of fellow praise and worship artists William McDowell, Michael Gungor, Jonathan Stockstill, Lori Morrison, Daniel Eric Groves, and features the debut of Martha’s daughter Danielle Munizzi.
