Psalmist Deanna Ransom Testifies With Powerful New Single, “I Am Healed”

Deanna Ransom understands what it means to go through.  Losing a husband after only 15 months of marriage, being viciously assaulted and suffering a miscarriage all within the space of a few months is enough to test even the strongest Christian.  Deanna Ransom has been there.  But she’s also experienced the miraculous healing of God.  Her suffering and subsequent deliverance is the backdrop for the new track, “I Am Healed”, from her recent release, Never Say Never…Again.  Penned by the artist herself, the inspirational song speaks to the renewing power of hope.  A flat-footed singer, Ransom gives an unforgettable performance on the cut.  Audience members of a recent BET Bobby Jones Gospel taping held recently in Washington, D.C. were left on their feet after she ministered the track.  The new song is currently being serviced to radio.  Fans can listen to a snippet of the song here:

“Pain, loss and rejection have a way of inflicting wounds deeper than the eye can see; emotionally, spiritually and mentally,” shares Deanna.  “When you add physical illness and sickness into the mix, we all, believer and non-believer alike have a need for healing.  There are times that we suppress something instead of really letting it go and so it continues to be a weight, holding us captive from moving forward and impacting our joy.  At my worst moment, while physically ill and struggling to totally release the things that over time had taken a tremendous toll on my faith, emotions, and spirit, the voice of the Lord reminded me to make a faith declaration…to speak healing, release and freedom in spite of what I felt and what things looked like. My God is greater than my past, my present and my circumstances therefore, I Am Healed and so are all that stand in faith in spite of what they see and struggle within the present…we are healed!”

Fans of the artist will be able to hear the song during her upcoming Online Listening Party.  She is debuting songs from her newest release on on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 4:00PM EST.  In order to tune in to the Listening Party, log on to  In addition, Deanna will be interviewed speaking on the influences for the music.
