Pastor Marvin Winans gives his reflection on 2012 thus far. He touches on everything from his recent carjacking incident to the passing of his close friend, Whitney Houston. Keeping his faith, Pastor Winans shows no signs of bitterness, but proclaims his inspiration to help our youth.
In reference to the three young men who assaulted him, he says, “It’s not up to the police, it’s not up to the government, it’s up to us as fathers, it’s up to us as community leaders to make sure we know where our children are.”
Pastor Winans then goes on to talk about the release of his new album, “Marvin Winans Presents: The Praise and Worship Experience”, with guest appearances from Mary Mary, Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, Bishop Paul Morton and a host of others. The official release date of the album is June 26, 2012.
