About Mag Elliott:

Mag Elliott is an extraordinary singer and songwriter, she was born and raised in a family of 20 biological musically-gifted children; singing was natural to her. She grew up performing in church and at showcases as both a soloist and in ensembles with her siblings. She began to quickly develop a household name within her city; audiences were wowed by her musical abilities and the anointing that rest upon her life.  She was quickly recognized as there was something extra special about her gift.  As her voice matured and her musicianship grew, she felt the pull towards writing her own songs and lyrics in order to express what was in her heart and began to pursue a career as a professional artist.

At eighteen, Mag released her first gospel single, “Worthy.” She was the featured act that was showcase with gospel giant Vickie Winans. The single was well received and sold out successfully but shortly after its release Mag was sought by many major artists to become an opening singer.  Mag’s career continued to soar and she became a lead singer for Grammy Award-winning extraordinaire Dr. Bobby Jones, whom is the pioneer of the nationally televised segment on B.E.T called “The Bobby Jones Gospel show.”  Mag’s second momentum appearance was the opportunity of being invited to New York City to sing for the legendary “Reverend Ike”. She has also made several television appearances including performing with Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Shirley Murdock and many others. Mag decided to take her career a step further and she got the opportunity to perform on “Showtime at the Apollo” based in New York City.  

 

Although gospel is her roots, Mag loves all genres of music.  She desires to share her style of music which fuses Gospel and Soul.  She feels like her gift will open doors to bigger arenas and attracts wider audiences allowing her to share her gift on a global scale. She began to broaden her horizon with her music and teamed up with different producers. She was blessed to have met up with Kevin Shine who is an A&R consultant for Jive Records, he thought she was gifted and presented her two tracks to accompany her talent.

 
Mag wrote to those songs and entitled one of the popular songs “Like Me” known as a trademark song for woman empowerment which became part of her portfolio.  She also had the opportunity to work with platinum producer in the music industry, “Hiram Hicks” who produced a successful track for her entitled, “Oh Yeah”.  Hiram has also been an industry consultant for P.Diddy. She was first runner up in a showcase sponsored by popular radio station V103 “Atlanta Idol”. She also became a finalist chosen from thousands of singers to perform nationally on VH1’s hit show titled “Born to Diva”.
