Introducing Dallas Based Praise and Worship Artist Gaye Arbuckle

gayearbuckleGaye Arbuckle is a praise and worship artist, choir director, and accomplished thespian hailing from Dallas, Texas. A graduate of Prairie View A&M University, where she served as Director and musician of the Baptist Student Union, Gaye’s passion for music was evident. This multi-talented artist has been endowed with a gift to write songs that seem to flow directly from the heart of God.

Gaye was presented to the gospel world at a very young age by the founder and president of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, the late Reverend James Cleveland. Since then, she has been featured on two of GMWA’s hit albums and has also sung with or opened for artists such as Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Vickie Winans, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Fred Hammond, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, Kelly Price, and Stephen Hurd.

Gaye has performed on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), was the guest artist for the Martin Luther King Celebration at the Myerson Symphony Center, the director for Juanita Bynum & Myron Williams “A Night at the Meyerson”, a featured soloist on Greg O’Quin’s CLICHÉS album, was the praise and worship leader for the “Woman Thou Art Loosed Live at Lakewood” conference spearheaded by Bishop T.D. Jakes, and was a performer at MegaFest 2013 in Dallas, Texas.

Gaye released her first two independent projects THINK ABOUT IT (2002) and MIRACLES AND BLESSINGS (2006) and has also performed in such productions as “Porgy and Bess”, “The Night I Fell in Love”, “Preachers Kids”, and “The Spirit of Forgiveness.”

Gaye is currently the minister of music at Concord Church in Dallas, Texas. However, it is the depth of her new independent project, HOLY, that is truly establishing her on the musical map nationally. A stunning array of praise and worship music, HOLY, has the industry standing up and taking notice of this anointed woman of God.
