There is no doubt that Charles Martin is a rising talent. This Detroit native was awarded the Gospel Blue Mic Male Artist of the Year Award at the 2011 Indie Gospel Alliance Conference and his single “This Joy” from his debut project MARY’S SON, charted well in the top 100 on the BDS and Mediabase Gospel Charts. The multi-faceted Martin tapped into his acting talents with a supporting cast member role in the forthcoming TriStar feature film remake of the 1976 hit movie Sparkle. Along with his career pursuits, this devoted husband and father is very passionate and excited about the launch of his charity “Mary’s Son” focusing on mentoring and college preparation for young men.
