Fantasia in the Studio With Michelle Williams, Mama Barrino to Work with VaShawn Mitchell on Upcoming Project

American Idol Winner Fantasia Barrino has been on a roll lately with delivering great news that we all can look forward to. A few days ago she revealed that her mother, Diane Barrino, is working on her Gospel album with Stellar Award-winner VaShawn Mitchell during an interview on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. Fantasia says that she will also assist with production on the project. If you can remember last year, Fantasia and Diane joined VaShawn on stage for his live recording concert. VaShawn returned the favor when he accompanied Fantasia for her performance later that year at the Essence Music Festival.

And now, The Idol Winner used Instagram to share a picture of herself recording for her “poo” Michelle Williams’ upcoming Gospel album. After being signed to Light Records last year, Michelle announced that she will be releasing her project this year. I think it’s safe to say that we are all on pins and needles to hear Michelle and Fantasia’ duet, as well as the collaboration between the Barrinos and VaShawn.
