David and Tamela Mann finally had the wedding ceremony of their dreams over the weekend in Dallas, Texas. Although the couple was legally married since 1988, they never had the chance to have the ceremony they desired. Back then the couple didn’t have much money, so they were married by their pastor in his study.
In preparation for her big day, Tamela spent months working with Binzario Couture to create the perfect wedding dress. “I knew every intimate detail of it, but when I saw it at my final fitting last week, I lost it,” she says. “It was everything I could have ever dreamed of in a bridal gown.”
Although the Manns have four children, none of them were included in the wedding. Instead, the couple opted to use their grandchildren. “Our grand babies were dressed as little princes and princesses,” says Tamela. “Our children weren’t happy they didn’t get to be in the ceremony, but they eventually were okay with it because their kids got to be on stage with us.”
The ceremony was small and intimate, with only close family and loved ones in attendance, including the couple’s long time friend Kirk Franklin. Congratulations to the David and Tamela Mann! We wish you both the best.

Tamala and David, you are so loved by so many people all over the world. You are even loved by little ole’ me who loves your talented gift of acting! David you have me crying and laughing at the same time. Man, you are a blessing! Tamala, your voice is truly a gift to this world and it blesses so many people. Your song, ” Take me to the King” is so uplifting and so powerful. It gives me the strenght to go on a little while longer when I feel like giving up sometimes. But, I am so reminded that God is mighty, mighty good to turn around now especially when I hear songs from you that is so announcing in the spirit. God bless you both richly as you continue to walk the word out in your lives daily as you both stay committed to God…….
