Christian Hip Hop Newcomer J.Long Preps For BET Awards Week

J. Long former Hip-Hop/R&B Crooner of platinum selling Hip Hop/R&B Group Pretty Ricky is preparing for what some would call a rebirth. No longer is he recording secular music, J. Long has changed his walk and ways as he states by getting baptized and saved proclaiming Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.

A week filled with interviews, an award show and the taping of his single “Shake The Devil Off”– an up tempo feel good tune that encourages listeners despite their current situations to take authority over the enemy, will be keeping this new Christian hip-hop artist busy while in Los Angeles this weekend.

Growing up in a family of musicians and singers it was only destiny that J. Long’s passion would soon be calling him and he’d find his way back into music, but now with a new sound and message. Working on a Christian Hip Hop CD entitled R&B (REDEEMED & BLESSED), which is scheduled to release at the top of 2013. J. Long states, “I wanted it to be known publicly that even me as an R&B Singer could change his ways.”

Garnering excessive media attention J. Long has exclusive interviews with mega entertainment online news portal Yahoo! Music, which will premiere his concept music video “Shake the Devil Off” in July.

J. Long will make his Christian television debut on Saturday, June 30 performing his new single “Shake The Devil Off” on Legacy TV Networks, West Coast Prayze TV.

Ending out his promo week on Sunday July 1, 2012, J. Long will be attending the 2012 BET Awards, which airs live at 8pm EST./7 CST.

Making a splash this weekend J. Long is ready for the world to see him in a new light. This gifted singer, songwriter, producer, actor and business man still continues to make his mark in the ever so competitive music industry.
