Celebrated Gospel Ensemble Damion Murrill & Siloam Launches “He Rose” Video Contest

image003Recently, Damion Murrill & Siloam released a brand new single from their debut release, Take A Stand.  The Resurrection-themed track, “He Rose”, has been playing on Gospel stations across the country.  With the release of the single, the gifted Gospel group also introduced the song’s video.  Recorded live at Lifepoint Church in Wilmington, NC, the video showcases the dynamic ministry of Damion Murrill & Siloam.  Since the video’s release a couple of weeks ago on The Journal of Gospel Music’s blog, the video has received over 5,000 views.

Now Damion Murrill wants his fans to celebrate the resurrection of the Savior and the song “He Rose” with him.  He is announcing the “He Rose” contest.  Damion is looking for church praise teams or dance teams to tape performances of the track, “He Rose”, on Easter Sunday morning.  Five finalists will receive a personal video greeting from Damion Murrill himself.  The winning church will be treated to a full concert with Damion Murrill & Siloam at their home church.

Videos of the performances must feature “He Rose” and must be uploaded to YouTube.  Once uploaded, fans are encouraged to post their videos on the group’s Facebook fan page for consideration.  The deadline to submit videos is Monday, April 4th.  Winners will be announced on Monday, April 11th.  For more information on the “He Rose” contest, please call 910.338.3585.
