Bravo TV”s THICKER THAN WATER Co-Stars BEN & JEWEL TANKARD Endorse T.D. Jakes’ BLACK NATIVITY / Tankard’s Bravo TV Show Ratings Soar

THICKER THAN WATER co-stars Ben and Jewel Tankard recently attended the premiere of Bishop T.D. Jakes’ feature film BLACK NATIVITY.  The Tankard’s are endorsing Jakes and encouraging fans to get out and see the holiday movie which opens after Thanksgiving on November 27 across the nation.  Black Nativity features Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Tyrese Gibson, Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson.

Tankard’s hit show, Thicker Than Water hit a record 1.86M viewers from Sunday night’s episode.  Ben and Jewel are tracking across the country promoting their show and made recent stops by Fox News <<Watch the Fox News Interview>> and at Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live”.  The Tankard’s appearance boasted the biggest numbers for “Watch What Happens Live” with 1.4M viewers (even more than Oprah and Lady Gaga appearances).

Ben Tankard is a twelve time Stellar Gospel Music Award winner with multiple Gold and Platinum albums.  FULL TANK, released on Tankard’s own label Ben-Jamin Universal Music and Central South Distribution, is his 18th solo smooth Gospel/Jazz project which also received three 2013 GMA Dove Award Nominations,  won the 2013 Gospel Blue Mic Award for Best Instrumental Artist of the Year and was nominated for a 2013 Soul Train Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Artist.  His new single “Thicker Than Water” just hit the Smooth Jazz Billboard BDS chart. Ben is noted as The Godfather of Gospel/Jazz and is a motivational speaker for the NBA.
