clip_image004(1)Damion Murrill & Siloam have been traveling the country lighting the world on fire for God. Songs like “Dancing In The Fire”, “Kingdom Come” and “Don’t Let Me Fall” have been setting believers’ hearts ablaze with the message of the good news. Delivering songs from their debut record, Take A Stand, they’ve been giving one unforgettable performance after another in cities like Knoxville, TN, Augusta, GA, Detroit, MI, Chicago, IL and Fort Pierce, FL. Now the amazing group of singers is prepping the release of their third single, “He Rose”, just in time for Easter. Featured on their debut CD release, “He Rose” will be impacting Gospel radio on February 19th. The single along with the project Take A Stand is available digitally at iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and at local Christian bookstores through a distribution deal with New Day Christian Distributors.

“He Rose” is a gut-wrenching track that literally puts listeners at the foot of the cross. Penned by Damion Murrill, the slow-building ballad develops to a frenzied climax of praise. It’s one of the artist’s favorite songs. He says, “The message in this song blesses me because it reminds me that Jesus loved us so much that He was willing to suffer. For that reason, all who receive Him are no longer subject to any bondage; and the best part is that He went through it all to make us the righteousness of God (Romans 3:20).”

In addition to the single, Damion Murrill & Siloam will be releasing a live performance video of the song. Recorded live at Life Point Church in Murrill’s hometown of Wilmington, NC, the video captures the powerful worship that took place that evening in front of a packed house. The video will debut exclusively on Journal Of Gospel Music’s website on February 19th.

The Gospel music industry and fans of the genre have been enjoying the ministry of Damion Murrill & Siloam for years now. Nominated for three 2015 SFGMA Awards, the group celebrated their first award wins taking home all three awards for Best Contemporary Group/Duo, Best Gospel Choir, and Best Gospel Song for “Take A Stand”. The award recognitions keep coming with nominations for the 2016 Rhythm of Gospel Awards. The ensemble received four nominations for Urban Contemporary/R&P CD Of The Year, Contemporary Group/Ensemble Of The Year, Contemporary Artist Of The Year and Product Packaging Of The Year.
