An Inspirational Message from Bishop T.D. Jakes, “Don’t Give Up… You’re Just Moments From Your Miracle”

TD-Jakes-1Here is a special message from Bishop T.D. Jakes. Check out the inspirational passage from his book “Your Divine Destination” below:

Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

Those words are meant to prepare you because something is close . . . closer than you think. Well, today I believe those words are more than a warning on the mirror of your car––I believe they are an announcement in the Spirit!

God wants to use the mirror of His Word (James 1:23-24, 1 Corinthians13:12) to reveal that His promises are about to overtake you. His goodness is not far off. His mercies are not far off. His favor is not far off. The answer to your prayer is not far off.

Consider the words of the Apostle Peter when he says . . . The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness . . . (2 Peter 3:9 NIV).

Deuteronomy 28:2 says it this way . . .
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God As I minister and counsel on a regular basis, I see that many times people give up right before their answer arrives. I’ve known people who survive the storm only to be shipwrecked on the shore, not realizing they’re just a few feet away from their rescue.

Let me encourage you today: You didn’t survive everything you’ve been through to drown in shallow water. Don’t give up . . . you’re just moments from your miracle! God is with you, and His goodness is overtaking you. You’ve come too far to give up now.

The presence of a storm doesn’t indicate the absence of God. God has promised His presence. He said He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

I know there have been times when you’ve felt weary. I understand that the storms of life can be exhausting. I want you to know that the storm is lifting and the sun is breaking through. His promises are true. His blessings are going to overtake you.
