Up and Coming Gospel Artist, Appointed, is a Prayze Factor Awards Finalist

Up and coming Gospel recording artist Appointed advances to the finals in the Prayze Factor People’s Choice Awards.  Nominees were selected by eight different industry businesses, ministries, platforms and radio stations.  Fan voting and committee input determined who would advance to the final round.  The Prayze Factor People’s Choice Award will be held at the historic Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Georgia on September 22, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.

“This is just too awesome. I praise the Lord! First, I receive an Urban Inspirational Award nomination and now this,” says Appointed. “It is so amazing to be in the company of such a diverse mix of gifted independent gospel artist” she adds.

Appointed is also sometimes referred to as “Pastor Wanda,” and is singer/songwriter originally whose sound is inviting that covers a scale from R&B to Jazz to Hip Hop to Pop. Her lyrics are catchy and praisy- penetratingly sincere & creative – with rich background vocals that have mass appeal to listeners. Appointed is a Pastor, wife, mother, student and a community outreach volunteer.

The Prayze Factor Peoples’s Choice Awards is the brainchild of radio personality Teresa Jordan, affectionately known as Pastor “T” of the PraiseFest Gospel Radio Show, a program that won two Rhythm of Gospel music awards.  She is also the founder of the PraiseFest Gospel Network (PGN).   PGN is dedicated to giving independent gospel recording artist a voice in the gospel music industry Group of The Year.
