Gospel Recording Artist Kendall King Captures 2012 Rhythm of Gospel Award
Jacksonville, Florida was the hotspot for the 4th Annual Rhythm of Gospel Awards, one of the largest Award Shows for independent gospel artists. Taped live on Saturday, July 28, 2012, gospel recording artist Kendall King received the award for Rhythm of Gospel Song of the Year “Crazy Praz.” Crazy Praz is a high-energy song that provokes a high praise. Kendall was also recognized for her various gifts as singer, songwriter and producer with nominations in three additional categories Contemporary CD of the Year “Faithful”, Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year, and Producer of the Year.
The Rhythm of Gospel Awards is an annual event filled with a variety of innovative and exciting showcases, choir competitions, pageants and achievement galas, bringing in over 8,500 participants to celebrate their love and appreciation of gospel music.
Kendall King is one of gospel music’s most exceptional, multi-faceted talents. Gifted as a producer, songwriter, artist, musician, minister of music, and worship leader, she has been called to deliver praise and worship with a nontraditional twist. Known for her smooth sound and fresh eclectic style, Kendall has an arresting energy and uncompromising message.
Fresh off of the release of her sophomore project “Faithful,” Kendall continues to impact gospel music. She is excited about two new upcoming projects, DC Gospel Artists United Together In Unity, a compilation CD featuring 11 of the most prominent artists in the Washington, DC area. Kendall’s contributions include “I Worship You” and “Holy God” featuring Earnest Pugh. Kendall is also gearing up for a live CD/DVD recording May 18, 2013.
Kendall King is also an award-winning, full-time graphic designer and produces artwork, promotional materials and web site design through her company, KKPRODUCTIONS. Whether through music or design, Kendall is a woman on a mission to use her God-given talents for the Kingdom.
