Arrow Records Appoints Claude Ismael as Head of International Affairs

Arrow Records, a division of Arrow Global Entertainment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Claude Ismael as Head of International Affairs.  Ismael will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of international communication and business development for the label, which is headquartered in Atlanta, GA.

With an extensive background in the music industry that spans over thirty years, Ismael brings a plethora of management, marketing and A&R experience to the Arrow family.  Previously, he served as President of two EMI distributed labels, Rockstar Records and Magnetic Records, and he has held executive positions at labels including, DX3 France, Breakbeat Entertainment (Sony Music) Arcade Music France, CNR Music France and Vogue Records.

Ismael has honed his skills by overseeing projects from a diverse array of artists including, Toni Braxton, Art Garfunkel, Aaliyah, JoJo, Patra, Barry White and Frank Zappa.  He has also managed talent such as Rita Marley, singer and widow of music legend Bob Marley, for whom he secured the book and film deals for her autobiography, No Woman No Cry.

In addition to his long track record at the aforementioned record labels, Ismael has managed marketing campaigns for several major brands and television programs such as, Heineken, Jacques Vabre Coffee, AH-AH & SNCF (French Railroad Company) and Moments Intenses de Musique TV.
