  5. Chase says:

WOW! I truly love the Stellar Awards. But it also makes sad to see the same winners over and over again, when there are so many great Artists that are looked over every year. It seems as if 1-3 Artist are chosen and get all the awards instead including others. My prayer is that all Gospel Artist to stay encourage God see and he knows all things…. Be blessed!

    • Cheryl says:

I totally agree with you Chase!!! That’s why my interest in the Stellar Awards is fizzling real fast! Even with most of the radio stations, they play the same artist and songs pretty much ALL DAY and Night!! I’ve become very discouraged with the industry. I really wish they would get it together and start being fair with the airtime of other gospel artists that have great music out there too!! That’s why I listen to my own CDs and internet radio because you get more of a variety of artist (some I’ve never heard of but have some AWESOME songs out there!)

  6. Peggy Tatum says:

Thanks for the info. Great job uGospel.

  7. Shout to the Lord! Congratulations to the Awardees! May you continue to worship the King of kings and share your ministration to uplift those touched through your music.
    Agape, Bishop Dr. Valli

  8. I wanted. Ernest. Pugh. To win but God has already rain. On us

  9. Big ups to Kirk Franklin for giving his song of the year award to the writer of Nobody Greater.

  10. Great Bravo! How refreshing Thank U-Gospel

  11. Congratulations to all. Stay focused on God!

  12. Pastor Myra says:

God is just that GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!Congrats to all of Kingdom Builders. To God Be The Glory!!

  13. Congrats to all the winners and their record label & PR Marketing staff..who make it possible for the winners to have their song played on the radio and internet.

    Blessed Be To God..

  14. @MikeJonesPR says:

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees!!!

  15. I am disappointed once again b/c we do not spread the blessings. The same one or two each year wins everything. If the Rance Allen Group (who are very good by the way) won for tradional group, why did they also win Traditional quartet? (Why not the runner up?) If VaShawn won artist of the year; why did he also win male vocalist of the year? Why not give this one to the runner up? The categories are so similar. Can’t we include more artists? There are so many great performers out there today. God bless all the winners. Just a thought.

    • Cheryl says:

I so agree with your statement Minister Faye!!! It’s becoming very disappointing to see that the same artists are winning back to back! Who’s doing the nominating?!! There are so many awesome current and new artists on the scene but do not get the recognition they should get like the current winners. Radio plays a major part in what the community hears and if they’re constantly playing the same artist/songs over and over, of course those will be the ones to get nominated/or win. It’s an unfair process (especially in the Christian arena)and needs restructuring. (I’m just saying…)

  16. chaz says:

    Same people every year

  17. DLStanfield says:

People….Vashawn got the Awards because He deserved them. People Vote, and the Winners win. God gets the Glory anyway, so why does it matter how many awards one person gets. HE EARNED THEM!!!!

  18. Cthomas says:

I am glad gospel artist are receiving awards for their music. It is a blessing. I would like to see more artist considered for Stella Awards. I buy so much gospel music that I never hear on any radio station. Neither are the artist mentioned on the Stella Awards. How come? I’m not just speaking of new and upcoming artist, I am including legendary artist like Shirley C, Dorothy N and the Mighty Clouds. I still love their music. They may not need a Stella Award to tell them they are great artist but it wont’t hurt to recognize them.
