eOne Music Celebrates Grammy Nominees Erica Campbell, Donald Lawrence and Bishop Paul S. Morton

Morton have just garnered three Grammy® Award nominations, announced for the upcoming 56th Annual Grammy Awards taking place onJanuary 26, 2014.  Erica Campbell receives a nomination in the category of Best Gospel Song, for her solo single “A Little More Jesus,” and Donald Lawrence and Bishop Paul S. Morton receive nominations in the category of Best Gospel Album, for Lawrence’s album 20 Year Celebration Volume I: Best For Last, and Morton’s album Best Days Yet.

A 4-time Grammy Award winner as part of the platinum-selling duo Mary Mary, Erica Campbell’s nomination for Best Gospel Song for the single “A Little More Jesus,” marks her first nomination from her much-anticipated upcoming solo album.  The current lead single for her debut solo project Help (My Block Inc./eOne Music), “A Little More Jesus” was written by Erica Campbell, sister Tina Campbell and Erica’s husband Warryn Campbell and topped the charts this summer.  The next single, to be released in January, will be the title track “Help.”

Grammy Award-winner Donald Lawrence is nominated in the category of Best Gospel Album, for his #1 album 20 Year Celebration Volume I: Best For Last (QuietWater Entertainment/eOne Music), celebrating his prolific 20-year career as one of the music industry’s most sought-after talents as a songwriter, producer and artist.  Executive-produced by Lawrence and featuring the #1 lead single “The Gift,” as well as the current second radio single “Best for Last” (feat. Yolanda Adams and the Tri-City Singers), the acclaimed 15-track album also includes new live-recorded beloved hits such as “The Blessing of Abraham,” “Say a Prayer for Me” (feat. Faith Evans), and “Ultimate Relationship” (feat. Lalah Hathaway).

Bishop Paul S. Morton is nominated in the category of Best Gospel Album, for his hit album Best Days Yet (Tehillah Music/Light Records/eOne Music).  Garnering critical acclaim, Best Days Yet marks the 10th solo release from the award-winning Morton, which features the Donald Lawrence-penned hit single “Your Best Days Yet,” the second single “Something Happens (Jesus),” “Things Are Changing” (feat. Marvin Winans), “The Grass Withereth” (feat. Karen Clark-Sheard), and “The Promise” (feat. Jasmine Morton-Ross and PJ Morton), among others on the 12-track album.
