Week of February 25, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart: Brian Courtney Wilson Debuts At #1 With “So Proud”

Music World Gospel recording artist Brian Courtney Wilson debuts at #1 with his new release, So Proud. The album also debuted at #5 on the Independent Albums chart and #44 on the Billboard 200 chart. The newest installment of the WOW Gospel series, WOW Gospel 2012, remains at #2.

Fred Hammond’s first release after his divorce, God, Love & Romance is #3, after making its debut at #1 last week. Identity by James Fortune & FIYA drops to #4, while The Joyful Noise Soundtrack drops to #5. William McDowell’s latest project, Arise: The Live Worship Experience remains at #6.

Le’Andria Johnson’s debut album, The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson drops to #7, and Kirk Franklin’s Hello Fear drops to #8. After an amazing 72 weeks, LeCrae’s Rehab is still in the top 10 at #9, followed by Marvin Sapp’s Playlist: The Very Best of Marvin Sapp at #10.
