Week of August 20, 2011 Billboards Top Gospel Songs Chart: Smiling Pays Off, Kirk Franklin Is Still #1

In the world of radio, there hasn’t been much shaking up of the charts this week.  I Smile by Kirk Franklin is still #1 followed by Earnest Pugh’s I Need Your Glory, which jumps one spot to #2. By the way, this earns Earnest a “2 for 2”, as his album is #2 this week also.

Next, we have Nobody Greater by VaShawn Mitchell at #3 followed by Trin-i-tee 5:7’s Over and Over at #4. My Heart Says Yes by Troy Sneed is #5 again this week, followed by Deitrick Haddon’s Well Done at #6.

Marvin Sapp’s He Has His Hands On You remains at #7, I Give Myself Away (Live) by William McDowell remains at #8 and Be Still by Yolanda Adams remains at #9 this week.

Finally, God is Great by Ricky Dillard and New G jumps two spots to #10, closing out the top 10.
