Gospel Music Workshop of America member Jeff Amos Passes Away

Columbia, SC — Details are still limited, but sources tell us here at The Belle Report that Gospel Music Workshop of America and Gospel Announcer Guild member Jeff Amos passed away early Wednesday morning, January 5, 2011.  Jeff who lived in the Columbia, South Carolina area recently underwent emergency surgery just before Christmas.

During the procedure a large portion of his large intestine was removed. Additionally because of a condition he had, he suffered from internal bleeding which caused more complications.  Doctors eventually connected his remaining large intestine to his colon.  As he started to heal he contracted pneumonia which left him in and out of the I.C.U. and led to even more complications which he was unable to shake.

Amos was TRULY one of the last good guys left serving and helping the saints of God.

May we ALL keep his wife, two sons and extended family in prayer. He will be dearly missed.
