TIFF JOY at BMI Trailblazers
Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), one of the most prestigious performing rights organizations in the world for songwriters, recognized singer/songwriter TIFF JOY’s composition “Amazing” (as recorded by Ricky Dillard & New G) as the Most Performed Gospel Song of 2015 at the 17th annual BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Honors program that took place January 16th at the Rialto Center for the Arts.
The Grammy ® Award nominated song spent an incredible thirty weeks at #1 on Billboard Magazine’s Gospel Airplay chart and has amassed over 84,000 broadcast detections with TIFF JOY’s explosive vocals defining Ricky Dillard & New G’s rendition of the tune. The Chicago native has also done a mellower version of the song on her Top 5 bestselling debut album “TIFF JOY” (Walkway/Tyscot) that was also released in 2015 and features her current radio hit, “The Promise.”
