Rising Lyricist B-RUT (Byron Alan Rutley) of Pontiac, MI has been announced as the winner of the America’s Got Anointing Talent Contest sponsored by the Preach The Word Network.“I am thankful for the opportunity to minister on such a grand platform of America’s Got Anointing,” says B-Rut. “I’m excited to be a part of this with Casey J, Cary the dreamer, Yolanda Riley & Shenice. When I got word of the Casey J video competition I really didn’t know what to expect. I wasn’t look for the spot light, but I am always looking for creative and innovative ways to promote Christ through social media. This online competition is a precursor to the Preach The Word Worldwide Network Television (PTWWN TV) 7th annual music industry showcase in Tallahassee, Florida in an effort to find undiscovered superstar talent. PTWWN TV has created a multi-level process which leads to a final audition in front of major record label executives and a chance to win a Bahamas Cruise as well as open up for National Recording Artist “Casey J” on January 9, 2016. Registration is open now for all unsigned artist to attend the free auditions on January 7, 2016.
B-Rut has also secured five Rhythm of Gospel Award nominations. His five nominations are in all of the Rhythm Of Gospel Holy Hip Hop categories and in the Song of The Year category as well! The voting process is open to the public with the awards ceremony taking place June 23-26 in Memphis, TN.
With his recent accolades, this genuine and straight forward speaking Christian lyricist is now gearing up for his POWER BEYOND MEASURE album slated to release Summer 2016. The first single from the forthcoming project is “Higher” and available now on digital music outlets.
