Fresh off the heels of a successful showcase during the 30th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards weekend in Las Vegas, Alexis Spight continues to make major strides at Gospel radio. This week sees her latest single “All The Glory” land at #13 after only 8 weeks at radio. An incredible feat on a number of fronts, “All The Glory” is the first single released on her new label home Uncle G Records. Spight teamed up with her manager Greg “Uncle G” Lyons after her time on Season 5 of BET’s Sunday Best and the rest has been history!
Moreover, Spight continues to work in the studio on her highly anticipated sophomore release titled, “Dear Diary.” Due out this year, the set boasts an all-star line up of hitmakers; a list which includes Fred “Uncle Freddie” Jerkins (Brandy, Kierra Sheard, Michael Jackson), The Potter’s House executive director of music and fine arts Jamar Jones (Usher, Tamela Mann, Chris Brown) and more.
Additionally, Alexis will be making appearances at upcoming events such as The Women’s Empowerment 2015 where Bishop T.D. Jakes is the keynote speaker, The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival where she’ll be sharing the stage with Lady Gaga, Elton John, John Legend among other notable acts.
