Sad News: Billie Richardson, Grandmother of Dove Award-Winner Jason Crabb, Passes Away

Billie Richardson, beloved grandmother of Jason Crabb, passed away yesterday surrounded by family and friends in her home in Beaver Dam, KY.

Crabb posted the notice on Facebook saying: “My Mamaw Billie just went home to be with the Lord. I loved her with all my heart. Everyone who knew her loved this Godly woman. I am so thankful for her influence on my life. Please pray for my entire family.”

The life of Billie Richardson made an impact on each and every individual she ever met, including Billboard’s Deborah Evans Price. Price included Mrs. Richardson as one of the her ’10 Most Memorable Interviews’ during her career along with Don Henley, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Jon Bon Jovi, Jimmy Wayne and more.
