Shirley Murdock enjoys traveling and spending time on the road, but she makes it known that her family is priority. Murdock frequently speaks of the love she has for her supportive husband Dale Degroat and her son who is a college student. Family is very important and she expresses this during every performance and ministry assignment.
Murdock will celebrate family August 12-14th as she makes stops in Tennessee, Virginia and Ohio for several “Family Festivals and Concerts”. She has incorporated these dates into her current tour “The Journey”.
On August 12th, Shirley will perform at the15th annual Umoja/Unity Festival in Johnson City, TN. The Umoja/Unity festival’s purpose is to bring family and cultures together.
The celebration will continue at her next stop in Lynchburg, VA on August 13th, where she will perform more new music from “The Journey” at the Praise Party Concert.
Shirley’s exciting weekend will culminate on August 14th, in Canton, OH at the Love Train Family Reunion Concert.
The love that Shirley distributes to her fans stems from the tremendous love and support that she receives from her family.
