The summer season finale of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network’s popular drama series “The Haves and the Have Nots” from Tyler Perry will air Tuesday, July 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT revealing a shocking twist and someone’s ultimate demise. During the season finale, viewers will get a chance to see a sneak peek of Tyler Perry’s sexy new drama “If Loving You is Wrong,” about the lives of a group of husbands, wives and friends that live and love in the same neighborhood, coming to OWN September 9.
Additionally, in anticipation of the season finale of “The Haves and the Have Nots,” the network will air every drama-filled episode beginning on Monday, July 28 at 10 a.m. ET/PT and ending with the show’s summer season finale on Tuesday, July 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. During the 36-episode marathon, loyal viewers and new fans alike will have the unique opportunity to follow in its entirety the continuing saga of the wealthy Cryer family and the poor Young family, whose lives are inextricably linked.
In the season finale of “The Haves and the Have Nots,” Jim Cryer (John Schneider) is confronted by his illegitimate son, Carlos (Adrian Bellani). Meanwhile, Katheryn Cryer’s (Renee Lawless) celebratory dinner party goes awry when Quincy (Medina Islam), the ex of family nemesis Candace (Tika Sumpter), shows up as her increasingly unstable daughter Amanda’s (Jaclyn Betham) date. Cryer family friends David (Peter Parros) and Veronica Harrington (Angela Robinson) continue to battle over their son Jeffrey’s (Gavin Houston) lifestyle. Finally, Candace seeks her revenge on Jim Cryer.
“The Haves and the Have Nots” hit a network high in its past spring finale and consistently ranks as the #1 or #2 original cable series in its timeslot among all women. New episodes of the series will return in January 2015.
