According to our source, Queen Latifah and country queen Dolly Parton have teamed up for what seems like “Sister Act” part two. It’s called “Joyful Noise,” a film that depicts a small town choir out to win big at a national competition in Los Angeles.
“There’s a love-hate relationship with Queen Latifah and me and, of course, toward the end we become friends,” Dolly said of their characters in the film.
Meanwhile, a budding romance between Sparrow’s grandson Randy (Jeremy Jordan) and Hill’s daughter (Keke Palmer) keeps the choir director’s at each other’s throats, literally.
“She was fun to work with! She’s kind of towering over me, so we called each other ‘Big’ and ‘Small,’” Dolly dished about her Oscar-nominated co-star. “I would always say, ‘Here comes the Queen!’”
“Joyful Noise” hits theaters on January 13, 2012.

NONSENSE!
“Playing Church” is not what God is requiring. A “REAL” relationship with Him is what He wants from His creation! What is the point in singing songs about God but not wanting to “LIVE” for God by “SURRENDERING”. I hope “TRUE-CHRISTIANS” do not go and support this foolishness. This movie should not even be promoted on this “Gospel News” website:(
The Lord wants sincerity and a commitment to following after Him. He said in Matthew (16:24)…”deny thyself, pick up your cross and FOLLOW ME”…
Peace and Grace
