Husband and wife team, David Mann and Tamela Mann, stars of the hit Tyler Perry sitcom Meet the Browns, are set to star in a new BOUNCE TV original-scripted series, MANN AND WIFE.
MANN AND WIFE is a multi-camera sitcom starring David and Tamela as newlyweds Daniel & Toni Mann. With cast and guest stars that include Vivica Fox, Tiny Lister and J. Anthony Brown, the show revolves around the newly married couple and their blended family, each with two children from previous marriages. They all move into Daniel’s house in the Atlanta suburbs and have to adjust to life as newlyweds and step-parents.
The series creator and director is Roger Bobb (The Rickey Smiley Show) who calls the new sitcom a “2015 Black Brady Bunch.” Bobb was Executive Producer for Meet the Browns and Supervising Producer for House of Payne which premiered on TBS as the highest-rated first run sitcom in basic cable history.
