On, September 6th, during the Family Jam for Peace, Chicago Mass Choir will join their fellow National Gospel Artists, Smokie Norful, J Moss, Michelle Williams and Anthony Brown & group therAPy on the stage as they encourage families through Gospel music.
“It is truly an honor to be a part of the Family Jam for Peace concert. It is so important that we support peace in our communities and encourage our youth to practice peace in our neighborhoods, schools and throughout our City of Chicago. The gun violence must stop because it is destroying the future for our children and youth. So grateful for the efforts of Inspiration 1390 and Clear Channel to promote “Family Peace” for our communities.”
-Dr. Feranda Williamson-CEO/President-Chicago Mass Choir
The Family Jam for Peace concert is a free event, sponsored by Gresham Development Corporation, WGRB-Inspiration 1390 and St. Sabina Church and will take place at 2pm in Renaissance Park (79th Street between Racine and Loomis).
