On January 1, 2011, Solboy Entertainment Music Group along with Pastor W. Lonnie Herndon and the congregation of The Church of Christian Compassion will be hosting a New Years Celebration Concert. This concert is scheduled to take place at the main sanctuary of the church of Christian Compassion located 627 S. Felton St at 1:00am. Several of Philadelphia’s known gospel artists such as: Tia Pittman, Marc Britt & Restored, Chico Robinson & GC, Treena Ferebee, BJ Shores & MSG and other artists within close vicinities are set to share the stage at this event. Looks like on January 1, 2011 the Church of Christian Compassion will be the place to be. A host of great musical talent on one stage. Special guest artist performance are: Bubby Fann & Praise Beyond of Atlantic City, NJ and New gospel alternative artist hitting the scene Thomas “TC” Clay of Wilmington, DE. Also, set to hit the stage is Philadelphia’s own Queen of Comedy Lady Kee. Looks like we are anticipating a great time of celebration of the new year 2011.

In speaking with him, I was seeking a clearer understanding of “The Philly Connection” and what was or if there was a meaning behind it, I found to know that “The Philly Connection” is “bringing forth UNITY amongst all Philly artist” says Adams. “Alot of our artists are hard working artists with schedules or just artists that are on their grind so its a lot of times we as don’t get the opportunity to come together as Philly and just vibe and love on one another, so I like to always start the year off with all artist coming together in unity to showcase all the great talent we have here” I definitely agree with that, Philadelphia is known for their great musicians and singers. I’m convinced this event will be a powerful event that you don’t want to miss.
