Week of June 16, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Songs Chart: Marvin Sapp Remains at #1 with My Testimony

I must be getting pretty rusty with my chart predictions. I thought that Go Get It by Mary Mary would be #1 by now, however the song seems to have stalled on the chart, dropping to #8 this week, after peaking at #6. The top five songs on radio are all in the same positions as last week, with the exception of JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise’s After This jumping to #5.

The remaining top 5 are: My Testimony by Marvin Sapp at #1, Let The Church Say Amen by Andrae Crouch featuring Marvin Winans, who has an upcoming album release, at #2, I Feel Good by Fred Hammond at #3 and Awesome by Pastor Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago at #4.

After 43 weeks on the chart, Zacardi Cortez and John P. Kee’s One More Time is #6 followed by Jason Nelson with Shifting The Atmosphere at #7. Finally, closing out the top 10 is William McDowell with I Won’t Go Back at #9 and J Moss’ Good & Bad at #10.
