Week of January 7, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart: Kirk Franklin Takes Back #1 Spot After Brief Hiatus

This week the chart is shaken up a little bit, as many albums aren’t in the same position as last week. Most notably is Kirk Franklin’s return to #1 with Hello Fear. Le’Andria Johnson is #2 with her debut album, The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson. William McDowell’s Arise: The Live Worship Experience is #3, followed by Amber Bullock at #4 with her debut album, Thank You

LeCrae’s Rehab is #5, after being on the chart for 65 weeks. WOW Gospel 2011, a compilation album by some of the biggest names in Gospel Music is #6, followed by Marvin Sapp’s Playlist: The Very Best of Marvin Sapp at #7.

Sunday Best Finalist Jessica Reedy remains at #8 with her debut album From the Heart. Isaac Carree’s debut solo album, Uncommon Me drops three spots to #9, followed by Gospel’s Best Worship, another compilation album, re-enters the top 10 at #10.
