Week of February 11, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart: James Fortune & FIYA Remains at #1 For Second Consecutive Week

 

James Fortune & FIYA’s debut album on Fortune’s new record label, FIYA World Music, Identity, remains at #1 for another week. Joyful Noise, the soundtrack to the motion picture Joyful Noise, is #2 after being on the chart for three weeks. WOW Gospel 2012, a compilation album featuring songs from artists such as Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Isaac Carree, Kim Burrell and plenty more, debuts on the chart at #3.

Another debut on the chart this week is Grammy award-winning vocalist, Myron Butler with his new album, Worship, at #4. William McDowell’s Arise: The Live Worship Experience drops one spot to #5, followed by Le’Andria Johnson with her debut album, The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson, dropping three spots to #6. After being on the chart for 45 weeks, Kirk Franklin’s Hello Fear is still in the top 10 at #7.

Isaac Carree’s debut solo project, Uncommon Me, which features the radio hit “In The Middle” jumps two spots to #8. Gospel Hip Hop Recording Artist LeCrae is still going strong in the top 10 at #9 with his album, Rehab, after an impressive 70 weeks! Finally, closing out the top 10 is Marvin Sapp with Playlist: The Very Best Of Marvin Sapp dropping four spots to #10.
