Week of April 28, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart: Trip Lee Debuts at #1, Isaac Carree Re-Enters Top 10

This week on Billboard we have a new album debuting at #1, Trip Lee’s The Good Life.  Also, Isaac Carree’s Uncommon Me re-enters the top 10 at #9. Besides that, the other albums in the top 10 made subtle adjustments in their positions. Marvin Sapp drops one spot to #2 with his latest project, I Win.

JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise is #3 with After This and WOW Gospel 2012 is #4, both albums peaked at #1 on the chart. After debuting at #4 last week, Smokie Norful’s Once In A Lifetime drops to #5. Actually, the remaining albums on the chart have all peaked at #1, including Fred Hammond’s God, Love & Romance, which is now #6.

William McDowell is slowly climbing the chart again with Arise: The Live Worship Experience jumping from #10 to #7, followed by James Fortune & FIYA’s Identity dropping to #8. Finally, concluding the top 10 is Kirk Franklin at #10 with Hello Fear.
