Mali Music and Briana Babineaux recently wrapped up filming for I Am Your Keeper, the first of 10 movies in Joel Kapity’s “I Am” series. Telling by the trailer, it looks real and intense.
The Joel Kapity film follows the story of violence in Chicago’s inner-city, where Jamal Whitney (Mali Music) finds himself torn between street life and faith walking. Bri plays Mali’s lady and Pastor Darrell Griffin plays himself.
“I really enjoyed doing the film,” Bri says. “I’ve done local plays for years in Louisiana. Now, that I’ve done one film, I’ve got the acting bug and I’m hoping to do more roles.”
I Am Your Keeper is due in 2017.
