Pastor Rudy Ramus of St. Johns United Methodist Church in Houston recently sat down for an interview with KHOU 11 to chat about his international icon church member, Beyonce Knowles-Carter. Pastor Rasmus presided over Beyonce’s 2008 marriage to rapper Jay-Z.
Pastor Ramus shared a few memories he has of the superstar, including her donating 7 million dollars to the church for a housing complex. The donation provided homes for 42 men and women, who would have otherwise been homeless.
In regard to Beyonce and her sometimes risqué persona, Pastor Ramus says it’s important to separate the entertainer from the person. Check out the full interview below!
