Most labels would be happy with the success of “Worth” alone but Tyscot Music & Entertainment is also enjoying blockbusting success with Casey J’s debut album “The Truth” that has spent 15 non-consecutive weeks in the Top Ten of Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums sales chart since its release in the spring. For the last year, Casey J has dominated the gospel airwaves as her breakthrough anthem “Fill Me Up” spent 14 non-consecutive weeks at #1* on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart while the YouTube lyric video has amassed over 3 million views. Meanwhile, Casey J’s rousing new radio smash “I’m Yours” picked up 13 new stations this week and rose from #19* to #12* on this week’s Gospel Airplay chart. The songbird is nominated for two Dove Awards and is scheduled to participate in the pre-show on October 13th at Lipscomb Arena in Nashville.
Both of these riveting acts have taped performances of their respective hits on the 35th and final season of BET’s “Bobby Jones Gospel” program.
