Marica Chisolm is a woman of varied talents and interests. Many know her as a gifted worship leader, but few know that she is also passionate about community activism. This Friday, Marica will join forces with other Atlanta gospel artists for the ‘Diabetes You Lose’ event.
When she is not busy promoting her upcoming project Simply Worship, Marica can be found lending a hand (or in this case her voice) to causes close to her heart. This time around she’s helping to raise awareness about a preventable disease that continues to plague the minority community.
Attendees of Diabetes You Lose will not only be treated to an amazing musical experience but will also receive the latest information on prevention and other life-saving tips.
During the event, Marica will perform songs from Simply Worship such as her current radio single “Used”. Other artists scheduled to appear include: Lowell Pye, Zeubulon Ellis, Monica Lisa Stevenson, Darius Paulk and more.
‘Diabetes You Lose’ starts at 7p.m. at Rhema Christian Fellowship located at 2649 McAfee Rd. in Decatur, GA. Marica Chisolm’s Simply Worship project will be available in stores and online September 24.
