The JJ Hairston household is no stranger to music with two decades of big gospel hits  such as “After This,” “Miracle Worker,”and “You Deserve It.” Now Hairston’s wife, Trina Hairston, has added some new music to the family’s rich catalogue. Her soul-stirring debut album, Sanctified: Live from Ancient Oil (JamesTown Music / MRNK Records), is now available on all streaming platforms.

This 8-track set reflects Hairston’s deep passion for inspiring God’s people to strengthen their faith and to pursue a more devotional spiritual walk. The session opens with a powerful chant featuring recording artist Timothy Reddick, setting the tone for this spiritual journey. “Sanctified is a piece of my heart,” Hairston says. “I wanted people to experience what we felt in God’s presence at the Ancient Oil Conference. My hope is that this project touches and moves people into worship.”

Among the album highlights is “We Receive From You, a profound worship piece featuring Shavance Stephens, a member of Youthful Praise and a worship leader at The Gathering Place. Together, he and Hairston invite listeners to seek and cherish God’s presence. The single “Nothing Else” is set to hit radio waves in the coming days.
