Up and coming family group, The Sneed Family, secured two of the prestigious Absolutely Gospel Music Award nominations. The Award Celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 15th at River of Life Church, in Smyrna, TN. Up for two awards that are very impressive for any young group, Breakthrough Artist and Fan Favorite Awards are bound to put a spring in the step of the career of this fine group. Breakthrough Artist means building a large fan base and the Sneeds have proven they can do just that.
Staying busy with three businesses as well as performing and promoting, the Sneed Family name is quickly becoming very recognizable and going to be around for quite some time. Singing in places like Dollywood, Silver Dollar City, the National Quartet Convention, as well as the Loretta Lynn Ranch, their credibility is beyond reproach. Voting for the Awards began Saturday, February 1st and will continue through Saturday February 22nd. The Absolutely Gospel Music Awards, often called the “finest” awards in the industry have been presented since 2002 by the staff of AbsolutelyGospel.com. The award nominations are chosen by the staff of AbsolutelyGospel.com and other select industry professionals, and most of the winners are then chosen by the fans of the genre and readers of the site. In 2005, AbsolutelyGospel.com held its first AGM Music Awards Celebration which brought in all the artists, industry professionals, and fans for an official awards ceremony.
