They love to offer a sweet spirit of praise and they live to lift a shout to Zion! They have raised their voices in harmony as a Gospel choir for over 20-years. The Kergyma Community Choir is keeping the Gospel choir sound alive and well through award-winning albums and exhilarating performances. Their mission is to represent their genre of music and to represent the one true God. Leaders and founders Arnold Johnson and Gwendolyn Williams have now guided the choir to their third album release CHOIR LIFE: DELUXE VERSION.
CHOIR LIFE: DELUXE VERSION includes an array of Gospel choir music pleasing to the masses. From the anthem “Worthy To Be Praised” to the high-praise churchy track “It Is Well”, the album embodies the Sunday morning church experience.
“Growing up in church the choir was the musical focus of service,” Arnold Johnson reflects. “Although we love Praise and Worship and it is very popular in church services of today, choirs should never be forgotten. Choirs represent the sound of the church.”
He continues, “There is something for everyone on our new album. I am very proud of this record. Choir Lives Matter!”
CHOIR LIFE: DELUXE VERSION is 10-songs strong of quintessential Gospel choir music. The album also includes their newest radio single “I Do Don’t You” featuring Darnell Williams of the popular quartet group The Williams Singers. “I Do Don’t You” is the intersection of where a mass choir meets a deep-rooted quartet group and the collision ignites a soulful swagger and sway that no one can resist.
